We all had great fun taking part in Snow White and the Seven Dwarves.  It was very funny and we were all a bit hoarse by the end of it... Oh yes we were!

Pantomime

On Wednesday 13th December the children in Year 2 performed “Born in a Barn” to their families. The children read, sang, acted and danced with such wonderful confidence. We were all so very proud of them. The Year 2 team would like to thank the parents of Year 2 for their support with providing costumes and rehearsing lines and songs - we saw many parents mouthing the lyrics as children were singing! Thank you for your continued support.

Stranger Danger

PC Doris talked to us about Stranger Danger.

We listened carefully to the story of Chinese New Year. We found out that we are now in the year of the dog. We celebrated Chinese New Year by learning a traditional ribbon dance.

On the last day of the Autumn term, the whole school, from Reception to Year 6 showcased the songs that they had been learning during the term. It was a raucous celebration which enabled all in attendance - especially the teachers - to rejoice in the Christmas spirit.

Singing Assembly

On Wednesday, 28th March KS1 had a very special afternoon. We all put on our Easter Bonnets and paraded around the hall! The Easter Bunny even came! He was so impressed by all of our bonnets. He couldn't choose the winners so he had to ask our teachers to help him!

Easter Parade

We had great fun dressing up as book characters on World Book Day! The Willy Wonkas made us all hungry for chocolate and the Harry Potters didn’t turn any of the teachers into frogs! Phew! By the way... has anyone seen Wally?
