Before half term, we visited Jubilee Park to look for habitats in the natural environment. We discussed how the living things in the park adapted to the winter season and were lucky enough to find a burrow!
On the last day of the Autumn term, the whole school, from Reception to Year 6 showcased the songs that they had been learning during the term. It was a raucous celebration which enabled all in attendance - especially the teachers - to rejoice in the Christmas spirit.
Children from year 3 and 4 acted and narrated the Nativity story to parents and other guests in St Edmund's Church on 18th December.
The Choir, rehearsed by Mrs Pope, led the singing backed by the St Edmund's band which features staff and students.

As part of our Romans topic, we created our own information booklets on a specific area of Roman life. The children undertook their own research for their chosen topic and organised it into their own information booklet.
