Pupils in Year 4 have been very busy this year. We have taken part in the Kinder Kitchen entrepreneur project designing, making and selling smoothies and snack bars.
We have visited Hatfield House as part of our Tudor topic.
Some children took part in Level 1 Cycle training.
Children in Year 3, 4 and 5 who made their First Holy Communion this year took part in a special celebration of the sacrament. It was a lovely, prayerful day and the children looked wonderful in their outfits. Well done and congratulations!
June 2016: KS2 went on pilgrimage to the Year of Mercy Holy Door in St. George's in Enfield. It was a prayerful time to reflect on God's loving mercy for each one of us.
In Year 4, we have been studying poetry and created our own Autumn poems.
Elizabeth went home and wrote this lovely poem which she read aloud to the class. Thank you, Elizabeth!
We found out about Romans in Britain and then went underwater using Virtual Reality headsets from Google Expeditions.
Children from year 3 and 4 acted and narrated the Nativity story to parents and other guests in St Edmund's Church on 19th December.
The Choir, rehearsed by Mrs Pope, led the singing backed by the newly formed St Edmund's band which features staff and students.
On 24th May 2017, Year 4 led the Liturgy for Mary. During the month of May we celebrate Mary and everything she has done for us. The whole school attended the Liturgy in the Church garden. Each child brought a flower to school and they were collected throughout the Liturgy and placed around the statue of Mary.
