On Wednesday 3rd December, Mrs Nagle, Mrs Freitas and Miss Pittendreigh took 16 children from Year 4 and Year 5 to the Advent Carol Service at Westminster Cathedral. We walked to Edmonton Green train station, and got a train to Seven Sisters. We then, got a tube from Seven Sisters to Victoria. We were one of the first schools to arrive at the Cathedral, and we got a pew right at the front! The Catholic Children's Society organised the Service and there were lots of fantastic actors there, our favourites were the real sheep and the real donkey! We sung lots of our favourite Christmas Carols and then we listened to Bishop John Sherrington, who said some lovely words about how we can prepare ourselves for the coming of Christ, at Christmas. We thoroughly enjoyed the "Angel Song" Advent Service at Westminster. It was a lovely, memorable start to our Advent!
