Well done to the KS2 basketball team who played in a tournament at Bishop Stopford. They won all their matches in their group and were through to the final. Unfortunately, they lost to Bush Hill Park 10-8. They all played well and worked as a team!
Well done to the Year 5 and 6 boys football team. They played in the league and did very well. They lost one game, drawing a game and winning a game 4-0 a great team effort.
Well done to the KS2 High 5 Netball team, who played 3 matches in the League. We beat Brettenham 5-0 drew with Churchfield 1-1 but lost against Eldon 3-1. They all played really and worked as a team!
Well done to the children in Year 1 and 2, who won gold by coming joint 1st in the Pantathlon event at Lee Valley Athletic Centre. They took part in different activities and worked as a team gaining points. They all enjoyed the experience.
Intel Skills for Innovation assembly, workshops and staff training.
Simon and Jake from Intel visited the school to tell us about our future careers - they said no one even knows what they might be because by 2030 85% of the jobs we will be doing don't exist yet!
Year 6 were lucky enough to take part in a half day workshop covering AI, 3D design and robotics. This is what Leon said about the day, "On Monday, it was an extraordinary day because we learnt how to code and control a robot... when I started my work, I saw that all of my class friends are happy and amazed because we all loved coding and controlling a robot."
