Summer Holiday Activities

As we come to the end of the school year, we just wanted to say how proud we are of you all. You have all worked extremely hard throughout the year in difficult circumstances and managed home learning brilliantly.

I know all the adults wish you a fantastic summer holidays and hope you have lots of fun. However, we would love for you to keep up the progress you have made since being back in school and have provided you with some ideas for activities you could do at home. These will help you come back to school in September, ready to learn, positive and ready to strive for greatness!

English, Mathematics and Science

The Oak National Trust provides thousands of free pre-recorded lessons for children from Early Years to Year 6. All you must do is choose the topic which you wish to learn about. It is recommended that you use the targets from the Summer Reports to help choose what you should learn about.

Simple to follow lessons and videos for pupils 4 – 14. Catch up and keep learning with short films, quizzes and practice activities that deliver key topics at home. 

Literacy Shed

A brilliant website with some resources, which use video and animation as a stimulus for learning.

Health and Well-being
