  • Teamwork Makes The Dream Work!

    Published 25/02/22

A huge well done to the Year 5/6 girl's Football Team. During the week they not only represented St Edmund's but also Enfield Borough as they played against Muswell Hill Primary for a place in the national finals later this year. The girls gave a brave and spirited performance against a tough team, and were victorious 2-0. All played really well and there were some great saves by Victoria to keep a clean sheet.

The girls will now represent St Edmund's and Tottenham Hotspur in May at the home of Watford Football Club, Vicarage Road. This is a fantastic opportunity, and we are all very proud of what you have achieved so far.

Make sure you say well done if you see the girls around school! :-)

  • Behaviour At St Edmund's

    Published 21/02/22

St Edmund's is a very happy and welcoming community where parents, staff and governors work together to achieve the best education for every one of our children.

As a Catholic school, St Edmund's aims to develop each child to reach their full potential in a friendly, positive, safe and caring atmosphere. Our child-centred approach focuses on the individual needs of the child, to ensure success whilst providing opportunities for spiritual, personal and intellectual growth.

This academic year, we have introduced a new behaviour policy to meet the changing needs of our students after a very challenging 18 months, which may have effected their personal growth and academic progress.

It is our firm belief behaviour across our school must be outstanding, in order for children to make progress and the relationship between home and school is vital for pupils to thrive. We hope the information below, along with our policy, will help to explain our school rules, approach and continue the close cooperation staff and parents have had during the history of our school.

  • STEAM DAY 2022

    Published 06/02/22

St Edmund's recently held it's annual STEAM Day. STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Mathematics) is a very special day for our pupils to further explore a range of subjects through fun, purposeful and engaging activities.

Each year we also choose one of the United Nation's Global Goals as a focus for our learning. This year it was Global Goal 15, which is 'Life On Land'. Children took part in a range of activities which focused on protecting and restoring life on our planet.

There were protests in the playground, year group debates, invention creating and more for children to enjoy across the day.

Thank you Miss Nugent for organising!

  • New Red Ties For Spring!

    Published 01/02/22

Each term, St Edmund's changes which pupils have the privilege to wear a Red Tie! Ten new children from Year 6 have been chosen by their teacher who have been excelling in everyday school life. This group demonstrates our school motto 'Love, Care, Share' every day. They are excellent role models to the younger children because of their effort, resilience and big smiles!

From collecting registers, helping in the dinner hall, setting up games during wet breaks, they have already justified why they have been chosen. They will continue in this role until the Easter break when the final ten children will be chosen.

    Well done everyone!
